On February 26, 2012, Vivian Nweze made a frantic call home. She had read the news reports and suspected her brother had been shot in Central Florida. While she discovered her brother was alive and well, she learned Trayvon Martin had died. Nearly a year later, Nweze—an mtvU correspondent at Howard University—took to the streets of Washington DC to find out how students were approaching the anniversary of Martin’s death.
