His film “The Beautiful Lie” put Fordham University’s Joshua Caldwell in the middle of Tinseltown when he won the very first mtvU Student Filmmaker Awards. He received the award from actor/director Zach Braff onstage at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards and hobnobbed with celebrities on the red carpet and backstage at the lavish affair.
