Headlining act of the “Woodies Tour,” Young the Giant is a band that plays meticulously written and crafted songs, having received innumerable “Band to Watch” accolades from outlets like The New York Times, SPIN and Nylon. Their singles “My Body” and “Cough Syrup” reached No. 4 and No. 2 on the Modern Rock charts, respectively, and the band saw its biggest spike in album sales directly after performing on the “2011 MTV Music Video Awards,” moving 10,000 copies of their debut in the week after the show. Young the Giant has also appeared on MTV Unplugged.

Walk The Moon, one of MTV’s Artists to Watch for 2012, recently released the dance-rock extravaganza “I Want! I Want!” and has received accolades from Nylon, SPIN and The New York Post. The band’s live shows are nothing short of electric, as the members’ streak, dot and smear their faces in paint before every performance, as seen in the band’s CMJ showcase for MTV Hive.
