About KVCU Radio 1190
Deep within the bowels of CU Boulder, an ancient and wise beast dwells with an all-seeing gaze across the musical landscape of the planet. Born in 1998, KVCU Radio 1190 has become one of the most internationally recognized college radio stations in the country. With our three pillars of Community, Education, and of course, Music, we at Radio 1190 have taken the initiative on bringing a deep sense of passion and appreciation to the wonderful world of college radio. Whether we’re bringing in bands for in-studio performances and interviews, promoting local concerts along with bigger touring names, or giving away free tickets to our devoted listeners, Radio 1190 is a haven for all who hold a profound love of music in their hearts.
