I chose these videos because they speak to me and I identify with each one of them. Music like this makes me think deeper, La musica es mi vida. I was born in Puerto Rico where my parents exposed me to Jazz, Latin Jazz, afro-caribbean music, cuban son, rumba, salsa, bomba y plena, african music, brazilian music and American music as well. Later on in life they introduced me to artists like Tony Bennet, Frank Sinatra, Bob Marley, Gato Barbieri, Miles Davis, Charlie Palmieri, Hector Lavoe, Ismael Rivera, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and many others. So for me music is mi esencia, my cup of good coffee, my medicine; I think the best medicine anyone can have, for real.
