“Nostalgia In Stereo”
It’s not a new concept, but always wickedly hilarious to see how people act when there’s a camera around. They have such interesting perceptions of rock stars. Also, I really love the smashing equipment a la Office Space, and the fact that all these footage was submitted via fans on MySpace. Cool stuff.

“Money Man”
I would have liked to see a more original video, but this guy does make me smile. (Especially when they were ironing those piles of money.) If you really take a listen to the lyrics, you have to admire his blatant honesty and persistence if nothing else.

“Melody”
I appreciate the sentiment of this song, even if I not exactly digging how it is executed. Lyrically speaking, it could use a little work. I do know that she intended to create her songs for a sing-along type of experience, which she probably achieved, but I’m not sure I really enjoy the substitution of simple sounds for heartfelt expression. She’s obviously a cute girl who does have a fairly good chance at being a successful pop star. She just needs to fine-tune some of her ideas. I do like the fact that the video a few completely different venues only to end up where it started. Interesting progression.

Esso
“Don’t Stop”
I like the tempo of this track and obviously the sample tribute, which is appropriately timed. It definitely adds something to the song, because it requires the artist to pick up the pace and allows him to demonstrate a bit more of his skill. However, I would have liked to see a more sophisticated video. This is flashy, but there should have been some type of scenario rather than just backgrounds. It’s not doing justice, but Esso definitely looks like he is having fun and that’s really what counts in the end.

“Dilemma Remix 1.0″
It’s a tale as old as time. Lady wants a ring. Guy wants his freedom. Have to write a song! This is pretty catchy, I won’t lie. Personally I fall on the “not rushing” side so I sympathize with this boy’s plight.
