Alright ALRIGHT. I love Harry Potter, OKAY? I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and I’ll test my Harry Potter trivia skills against your Harry Potter trivia skills any day. If I went to Hogwarts I’d totally do better than Hermione on my NEWTs (Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests. It’s their comprehension exam!) and I would be in Ravenclaw. And I would have a barn owl named Alfonso. And… well, you get it. But turns out, there are people who harbor a love of all things J.K. Rowling that is much stronger than mine. Watch the Quidditch-obsessed mind take over as we eagerly await the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
I’ve provided a helpful list of Quidditch terms as well:
Quidditch - a magical sport played on broomsticks
Quaffle - ball you use to score
Bludgers - balls that fly around and try to knock you off your broomstick
Snitch- little golden ball with wings, catch it = GAME OVER
Keeper - what we here in the States would refer to as the goalie
Chasers - three of these players handle the Quaffle and score
Beaters - two of these players knock the Bludgers away from their players and towards the other team
Seeker - HARRY POTTER!!!
