6 Epiphanies Had by Extras on Music Video Sets

A few years ago, I was in a music video by accident because I was in a bar that was apparently the location for a shoot. The director got on a megaphone and said, “OK, everyone act drunk!” It was not a problem.

Ever since then, I’ve paid close attention to the background players in music videos and every once in a while, I can actually see someone in the periphery looking completely out of place. I always wonder: Are they regretting this? Are they confused or embarrassed? Are they bad at acting drunk or good at being drunk? I believe I’ve found some choice videos where the extras are caught in the middle of having profound realizations.
