The Hot Seat: League 510

League 510This week League 510 sit down in our Hot Seat and answer our burning questions.

1. Tell us about your craziest touring experience.
So we were in LA, funds were low and we needed a spot to crash. We ended up getting a room at this little motel in Hollywood. This place was barely a step up from an 8 hr greyhound back of the bus bathroom! Stains everywhere, holes in the comforters, and cracks in the walls. Monty and Blacksmith ended up sleeping in the car while TK and Know It slept fully clothed on top of luggage.

2. What type of college class would you’d most want to take and why?
Astronomy, because we are from the cosmos.

3. What city in America is the most fun to visit and why?
San Francisco, because they have good crepes. Vegas… self explanatory

4. What’s some of the best advice you were ever given?
The best advice we were ever given is that the world is governed by the law of attraction. If you believe in what you do and visualize your future, it shall manifest itself.

5. What’s in heavy rotation in your MP3/CD player right now?
Little Dragon, We got to witness the magic of one of their performances live… front row. We are also slapping that new HOVA!

6. The last good book you read or TV show you’re addicted to.
Lost, Smallville, Heroes, CSI, Shark Tank, and The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack… we don’t read much lol

7. What’s the first concert you ever saw - how was it?
Mr. Knowitall- It was an MC Hammer concert when I was seven. Even then I knew I wanted to be up on stage performing one day. Hammer was a phenom back then and it was amazing to see.

8. What are three items you can’t live without on tour?
Item #1 is definitely a phone… gotta stay connected! Item # 2 is Craisin, honey roasted cashew and almond trail mix! Item #3 is 2 turn tables and 4 microphones!

9. Who are your major musical influences?
Hieroglyphics, 2pac, Timbaland, Michael Jackson, The Gap Band, etc.

10. Any random messages or tips you’d like to give to mtvU watchers?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help, it took lot of effort from people other than ourselves to get us where we are today.
