1. Tell us about your craziest touring experience?
Probably when Boomkat was performing in Berlin, Germany for the first time an amazing historic building, sold out full of Happy Hip Germans, we were in the middle of playing our hit “The Wreckoning” and all a sudden the power to the entire building went out! Pitch black! The ancient building could not handle Our Rockin’ song and Voltage! Haha!! So with that being said the show was over and the Germans weren’t very happy but we made it up to them by playing the next night:) :)

2. What type of college class would you’d most want to take and why?
History of Religion, where it comes from and why there are so many different beliefs, I relate to almost all to a certain degree and have a fascination how and why people die in the name of Religion, and a desire to see all the fighting over Religion one day be vanished!

3. What city in America is the most fun to visit and why?
I enjoy NYC a ton, I love San Francisco and Nashville…Music!

4. What’s some of the best advice you were ever given?
U see the same people going up as you do coming down so always be kind and humble. Also Luck is when preparation and opportunity collide.

5. What’s in heavy rotation in your MP3/CD player right now?
Dragonette, Ellie Goulding, Theophilus London, Afrojack, The Beatles.

6. The last good book you read or TV show you’re addicted to?
I love Sons Of Anarchy! I know I’ve been on it but I still love it, its so good!

7. What’s the first concert you ever saw – how was it?
My very first concert was Purple Rain at 6 years old, dressed as Madonna from her ‘Like a Virgin’ Video and all I can remember is my mom covering my eyes the entire concert. I’ve got to catch up on all the footage I missed as I can never get enough old school Prince.

8. What are three items you can’t live without on tour?
My doggie, my hair n makeup artist (can’t stand getting ready…lol) and a friend or 2 :)

9. Who are your major musical influences?
Geesh…that’s a really tough Q. I grew up around so much music, between my Brother (my hero) my father (a musical genius) and my roller rink I had it all!
I have always loved strong female artists like Gwen Stefani and Lauryn Hill, but my influences ranged in anything from hip hop to grunge. I was obsessed with Nirvana and love groups like Tribe Called Quest. My taste in music is pretty versatile, so what it really comes down to is the heart behind the music.

Any random messages or tips you’d like to give to mtvU watchers?
Always tell the people u love how much u love them whenever u can, u never know what could happen from one minute to the next. That comes from my own personal experience.
