Time Machine’s music is a little like a time machine back to the golden era of hip hop, but don’t be fooled. MCs Biscuit, Jet Set Jay and DJ Mekalek aren’t riding anyone’s coattails. The LA based group has managed to stay true to the beats and rhymes that got them going, but their songs are always forward-moving. That progressiveness has expanded their audience to contain even some of the snootiest hipsters around. Who said rap wasn’t cool anymore?
