If renaming the members of your band so that they share last names and random punctuation means you’ll end up as talented as Los Campesinos!, there’s going to be a lot of confusion about familial relationships in the coming years. Okay, so they’re indie-pop and into being ironic. But whatever “indie” actually means these days, this band has the independence to keep things polished, the courage to be humorously self-deprecating, and, of course, sincere, incredible music to back it up.
