The quaintly named Friendly Fires hails from St. Albans in the UK, formed by three friends to relieve the occasional boredom that comes along with living in small-town suburbia. Lead singer Ed MacFarlane, guitarist Edd Gibson, and drummer Jack Savidge set out to create the catchiest songs possible and found great success with “Paris,” “Jump in the Pool,” and new video “Skeleton Boy.” Their buzzy guitar hooks and infectious beats have carried them across the pond where they’re set to cause a dance revolution.
