About WXCI
Western Connecticut State University’s radio station, WXCI 91.7 FM, is student-run and broadcasts from the Midtown Campus in Danbury, CT. It began its run in 1973 and has been named the second largest college radio station in CT. The station plays a wide variety of genres from hip-hop to heavy metal and all that’s in between. Our College Radio Countdown playlist consists of 10 artists who really portray our style at WCSU. From 1980′s rock to present day sounds, this playlist shows exactly what can be expected from WXCI.
