For 25 years 89.5 FM WSOU, based on the campus of Seton Hall University, has been providing the New York City metro area with the loudest heavy metal has to offer. The videos and artists on our top ten list are not only representative of our sound but are also iconic for heavy metal in general. WSOU has been responsible for breaking bands into the metal scene and continues to support local scene because you never know where the next hit is going to come from. We are proud of what we have been able to accomplish and we will keep banging our heads for a long time to come.
