Share your college radio station with the Nation.
This fall (2012) mtvU is giving college radio stations the opportunity to present an episode of The College Radio Countdown. Each week the staff of a different station will be chosen to play the ten hottest videos on campus and getting the gig is easy. Just email the following information to collegeradio@mtvu.com.
1. Pick your ten favorite videos and list them from 10 to 1. There’s one catch. The videos you chose have to be available on MTV.com. There are 20 thousand videos available so there has to be something you’ll like. The best way to go is to pick your top ten, then search for each video on MTV.com. If it’s not there, or it doesn’t play, pick another.
2. Write a short paragraph describing your station and why you picked the videos in your countdown. We don’t want a paragraph on each video, just one that gives a sense of why these songs are so hot on your campus.
3. Attach your station logo and a group picture of the staff that you’d like to see posted on mtvU.com.
4. List your College or University, Radio Station call letters and numbers, any station nicknames, and the name and email address of your station manager.
5. The stations that are chosen will be invited to film an intro that will air on mtvU and mtvU.com.
