What originally started as a duo grew into the Oregon-based quartet Hockey, who have already completed a tour with fellow Ahead of the Curve artists Passion Pit and are currently on the road with Freshmen Five artists Friendly Fires. Snapped up by EMI before they could even release an EP and led by frontman Ben Grubin, the earnest powerful vibe of “Too Fake” rocks Ahead of the Curve.
