For Ahead of the Curve, Glasvegas is represented by two of its band members: cousins James and Rab Allen. Usually joined by Paul Donoghue and Caroline McKay, the quartet from Scotland experiments with an inherent contrast of simplistic riffs and complex lyrics. This particular interpretation of “Daddy’s Gone” demonstrates the way in which the band has become well-known for a touching trademark elegance.
