Goons United by The New School is a South Florida based rap group who count Young Jeezy and Outkast amongst their influences. “Doo Doo” is the second single off Kosha Dillz’s album Beverly Dillz. The San Diego-based quintet Lights On have released their debut album Here Comes the Ocean. More Freshmen artists hailing from Florida this week, the band Transmit Now’s full length Downtown Merry-Go-Round is available now.

Well. Got a bit nasty in the comments section these last two weeks, eh? As always, I encourage everyone to be kind to one another, the artists, and mtvU. Heavy Young Heathens have been featured on MTV’s The Jersey Shore. Ry Cuming is an Australian musical artist whose self-titled debut album is available now. Solillaquists Of Sound is an Orlando-based hip hop group who’s sophomore album No More Heroes was released last summer. The Framework released their album Before Tonight last summer and now have a video featuring Kristen Prout of Eclipse. Vinnie Paz runs his own label Enemy Soil and has just released his first solo album Season of the Assassin.

HaZiQ aLi is currently working on his upcoming album Business is Good. British DJ Rusko put out debut album O.M.G.! this spring. Yuna is a singer from Malayasia, who released her debut LP Decorate in July.

Chris Carpenter is a 22 year old native of Kentucky who released his sophomore album Falling Out of the Atmosphere and is currently at work on a new record. CookBook released his self-produced debut album I Love the 80s last month. Down With Webster is a 7-piece band from Canada who released Time to Win Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 as 7 track mini-album releases. A quintet from Brooklyn, La Strada released their debut album New Home this past spring. Johnny Spanish is a hip-hop artist from Kentucky.
