The decision this round was fairly unanimous with MeTalkPretty coming in with almost 80% of the votes for a Freshmen win. Congratulations to the group. Their video will be added into regular on-air rotation this coming Monday. I’d just like to give a quick shout-out to Sent By Ravens as well, who received a great deal of fan support in the comments section. Don’t forget to check back next week for a new group of artists, another chance to vote, and more opportunity to discover new music. In the meantime, you can follow
Everyone was so quiet in the comments section this week! Has the laziness of summer overtaken us? Are crowds flocking to the beach? Luckily, the votes were as loud as ever. While The Drums kept up an impressive fight, The London Souls pulled ahead at the end of the week to take this Freshmen win. I hope everyone enjoys their holiday weekend, but don’t forget to check back in next week for new artists and a new chance to vote. In the meantime you can follow

Despite some major battling in the comments section this week, Sons of Sylvia were the undisputed winners of this round. Congratulations to the group. Their video will be added into regular on-air rotation next week. Just a quick explanation about the Freshmen summer schedule. Now that the season is changing, we’ll go into a two week rotation. Monday June 7th starts a new round that will end Friday June 18th, giving you more time to vote for your favorite artists. When the semester starts again in the fall, we’ll go back to the regularly scheduled programming with a new round each week. In the meantime, you can follow

Well. I am glad that everyone heeded my advice to be kind to one another in the comments section this week. AHEM. Wow everyone, just… wow. Was all of that really necessary? I honestly have to say that I’m pretty disappointed. But on to the actual focus of the competition. Hamilton pulled ahead in the votes and can now officially be declared the Freshmen winner of this week’s competition. His video will now be added into regular on-air rotation. I would like to extend a thank you to B.Dolan for taking the time to comment, express his thanks, and encourage people to BE NICE to one another. That’s class. Perhaps we can all take a lesson from this, yes? I hope to see everyone on Monday when you can vote for a new round of Freshmen and a chance to support your favorite artist. Wishing everyone a good weekend, until next week.
