My Bio
I'm a 20-year-old student from Washington, DC. I was raised on solid gold oldies and Gypsy Kings, but inevitably progressed into the ever-painful preteen music listening years. It was not until a friend tipped me off to Ted Leo & the Pharmacists that I truly made the leap to quality music. Along with my best friends from high school, I established All Things Go, a music blog dedicated to getting the word out on new and interesting bands. My tastes are many; I love anything from adorable indie-pop to hip-hop to folk to blues. I am also a Washington Redskins fan with an unhealthy obsession for string cheese, Nike Dunks, Fred Smoot, and crossword puzzles. I continue to write for All Things Go along with my co-writer Adrian because I love the addictive feeling that sends shivers down my spine when I hear an epic song for the first time and I want others to feel the joy. I currently attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I am majoring in Journalism and Media Studies. I will be in Florence, Italy, in the Spring to study Italian culture while I get fat on ravioli, prosciutto, and red wine.
